What should I say about this city where my family and I left a piece of our heart?
Declared national shame in 1952, it is gearing itself towards being one of the cultural capitals of Europe in the near 2019. There can’t be greater and deserved recognition! We could say an infinity of things about one of the most ancient cities of the world, populated since the Paleolithic, at first a rock civilization and then a border city, of strong disputes, of competition and fusion between landscapes, civilizations and different cultures.
What strikes you the most is the recovery of a lost identity, penetrating in every alley and sight.
The city releases powerful feelings, almost primitive. I had never tried a similar emotional transportation.
